Many individuals list technological competency as a skill on their resume, but few have the credentials to back up the claim. MOS certification proves a candidate's competency and demonstrates his complete understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Employers who see this certification on a resume often give it more weight than they would a simple statement that the candidate is technologically competent, as MOS certification is a proven measure of the candidate's technological skills.
